A young, but battle hardened, soldier is knocked out as a result of a mortar landing next to him. He wakes up alone in the middle of a forest. There he finds an enemy soldier stuck in a tree and he makes the decision of sparing the other soldiers life. This offers him a change to get to know who and what he is fighting. This encounter completely changes his view of the war and the enemy, realizing that the men he is fighting are not so different from him.
